Job Description

This is an expert individual contributor role, working across the organisation to design, build, and implement a Service Management architecture for a multi-tenanted infrastructure environment and End-User Computing platform.

Key responsibilities:

  • Service Management tools design
  • Monitoring design and solution
  • Service Desk design and setup
  • Control room design and setup
  • Participate in Infrastructure design and solution
  • Conduct Technology POC
  • Business requirements gathering
  • Good understanding of existing Cloud services

Role attributes :

  • A senior and experienced Infrastructure Service Management Architect with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) who is able to manage and control multiple streams within ASAP and Clients
  • Able to operate both autonomously and in conjunction with direct management to support the installed estate and on new client requirements
  • Has an open style and is able to establish and conduct relationships with multiple peers, as well as clients, both locally and in the global organisation and third party service providers
  • Is culturally aware and experienced in working in Singapore / Asia

Experience and Qualifications

The right candidate will have proven track record in architecting and designing a Service Management framework for a banking platforms:

  • Datacentre (Physical and Mechanical & Engineering), Servers, Operating Systems ( UNIX & Wintel), Database Administration (Oracle & MS SQL), Storage (SAN & NAS), Networks (Data & Voice), IT Security (Powerbroker, NIPS, IPS, DDOS)
  • Desktop (Standard, VDI, Citrix, Printing)
  • Must have good knowledge in the following areas:
    • Service Management tools
    • Monitoring tools
    • Servers technology IBM P-Series and X86 (Cluster and High Availability)
    • Virtualisation and storage technology
    • Disaster Recovery requirement
    • LAN/WAN technology
    • Unified Communication (Lync Voice, Data and Video)
    • End User Platform
    • Data Centre infrastructure
  • Familiar with MAS. HKMA TRM and APRA PPG
  • Experience in information security frameworks
  • Experience in providing technology solution in a vendor environment
  • Pragmatic and experienced professional with specific experience in BPO functions or within ITSM in large Private Banks or Wealth Managers, with a consistent growth in role and responsibilities preferred but not mandatory.
  • At least 10 years’ experience, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent vendor and relationship management skills with proven experience of managing multiple partnerships and client relations
